PELITA PARTICIPATED ON CHEVRON EXHIBITION

IN DURI AND RUMBAI

Jakarta –  PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia has held the exhibition program “Human Resources Fair 2009”, on June 10^th, 2009 in Duri, and on June 17^th, 2009 in Rumbai.

And PT. Pelita Air Service was given the opportunity as a participant in that exhibition, with the special theme “Socializing safety and air transport regulation that have being used to support the Chevron operation.”

There were about 16 booths participated in that exhibition, which are the stakeholders of Chevron (both internal and external), which support the daily operation of Chevron. The event was begun at 08.00 am, with the opening  ceremony that was leaded by Ms. Nurbaity Maas as an HR Manager SMO, and finished at 6 pm also with the closing ceremony.

There were some  comments and inputs from mostly the employees of Chevron, where they hoped that Pelita Air could provide the scheduled flight from Dumai to Jakarta and from Jakarta to Dumai, for the existing co-plane (with the Fokker-100 of Pelita Air) can not accommodate their needs of mobilization on that route.

In the event in Rumbai, the booth of Pelita Air collaborated with the travel Chevron booth, and was chosen as the best booth, based on the questionnaire from the visitors, and as the booth with the most attractive and the most crowded visited.

Hopefully we can maintain this proudly appreciation that will make a good impact to our business in the future, especially for better cooperation with Chevron, and globally to enhance the trust of the markets & people to our company.  (Ellen Gunawan/PR-SC)
